Presented from an isometric point of view, Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader is a tactical role-playing video game with challenging turn-based combat and gameplay’s emphasis put on the exploration of the futuristic open world of the Koronus Expanse. Similarly to the other Owlcat Games, Rogue Trader takes what’s best from the tabletop role-playing games systems and utilizes it in the virtual setting of the Warhammer 40k universe.

Fight for the Imperium

In the Rogue Trader game, the player takes control of a party of six powerful characters, all of them with unique abilities and stories. Get to know their strengths and weaknesses as they follow you on your journey to the edge of the Universe, exploring the hostile areas of the Koronus Expanse and taking part in challenging turn-based fights that require outstanding tactical skills and dexterity alike.

Follow the main story and complete multiple side quests, but keep in mind all of your decisions have their consequences. Rogue Trader uses the conviction and alignment system with its three distinct tenets (Dogmatic, Heretical, Iconoclast) granting you permanent passive traits that may change the rest of the gameplay for you. Become the master of evil or the good you seek in the dark corners of the universe!

While Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader can be played in the single-player mode, it’s also Owlcat Games’ first attempt at implementing the co-op multiplayer feature: you can play Rogue Trader with your friend or family member online!
